More Revlon Matte and Lacquer Balms! Reds!

I am obsessed with these colorbursts balms! They are just fantastic. I saw on YouTube that Leighannsays (who is a hard sale on a red) was in love with the Matte Balm in "Standout." So I had to pick it up, it was BOGO 50% and totally worth it. They retail $8-9 depending on where you get them. If your Bed, Bath, and Beyond has a makeup area (which some do!) then get them there because it is about a dollar cheaper or wait for the CVS or Walgreens sales. I have another post on what I love about them but this one is just a lip swatch post. These are awesome the only down side is the lacquers need reapplication because they are a bit glittery but I think they are exact dupes of the Tarte lipsurgence (usually $24) and if you liked those you will love these!

These are both true reds and I love them! Perfect for holiday parties! Go snag some! Who doesn't love a pencil application? I mean these are no muss no fuss reds! No lip liner needed!

here: http://www.ipsy.com/r/1b8t

I love the hairspray it is awesome hold. The lip balm is my go to every night. It is pillowy feel like the elixirs by maybelline but more lasting power. it is not pigmented (peachy if anything) but smells super VANILLY. I love it and have been using it nightly. I have been using the silver-grey pencil on my inner third of my eye or above my winged liner for some VA VA VOOM. It is an awesome color and lasts for days! The nailpolish is so pretty and will be on my nails for NYE! The bronzer is a blush at best or all over warmth it is similar to a lighter gingerly by MAC at best.

Here is a lip swatch of Hot Damn! This is very pigmented lip crayon, semi matte and awesome. It is a lasting finish and no lip liner needed sort of deal. I love this red-pink tone color and it will be a staple this fall for me.

So worth the $10 per month. My mom and I love comparing what we get. If you don't like what you got retake the quiz it will personalize your bag to you!

MAC impassioned dupe - Rimmel Kate Moss 06

I love basically everything from Rimmel I swear. This is the Lasting Finish collection by Kate Moss this is very similar to the consistency of the Satin finish at MAC. You can eat and drink and still have plenty of color on your lips. This color is a very close, dare I say exact dupe for Impassioned by MAC. This costs about $3.29 at Target or $5.29 at CVS. So save your money and get the dupe! This is a bright pink to coral color. I absolutely love this! I was going to buy Impassioned then was like screw it lets try the Rimmel Dupe first and OMG I love this color and finish! The color is Kate line in 06.

Great wear time, and not very drying at all! I love it! Still my favorite Rimmel products are the Moisture renew color which to me are as good as MAC! I have been so pleasantly surprised with Rimmel products lately. Also if you have Ipsy and got the starlooks pencil in a bright coral color this would be a great liner for this lipstick (at least I will be trying that match).

Go save yourself some money and buy all the Rimmel!

Sephora 500 point perk! STILA

I handed in some of my beloved Sephora points for this awesome 500 point gift set!  It came with a tiny kitten eyeshadow, stay all day liquid lipstick (Beso 10) , STILA lip glaze in apricot (08), STILA cheek and lip tint in Peony (convertible color), and STILA lionfish (color) waterproof eyeliner. I love all my products!

Here are a couple of swatches:

Here is the liquid lipstick and kitten eyeshadow I also used amber It cosmetics in crease and naked 2 busted in outer v. And of course the STILA liner top and bottom.
This is long wearing and does not really transfer but it takes forever to put on and not get everywhere. Beware it stains and is hard to get off. So definitely long lasting but hard to make a precise line with the wand applicator. It has a weird smell kind of like Rimmel show offs, and not really too drying for a matter liquid lipstick; similar to the texture of the NYX matte lip liquids.

Here is the lip glaze in a peachy color called apricot.
This is a sheer peachy color I really like. It has a sweet smell, and is semi tacky (not as sticky as MAC). This has a nice brush applicator for easy and precise application.

A better shot of the eye makeup. I love the kitten color (center of the lid)! (Ignore lipstick in
This shot it is a rimmel
Lipstick)

And here is max and I giving you all kissesđź’„❤️

Definitely worth the points!!!

MyHabit find Reserves 29 lipstick! Lip Swatch!

This is one of my favorite lipsticks I own. It is a berry red color called "Expressive Rose", one that I can get away with night and day. It is super moisturizing and hydrating. It is made with grapeseed oil. This is a deep raspberry color according to the website. This had minimal feathering and NO tightness! YES! The packaging is to die for very sleek silver bullet style. This is a lipstick that gets a lot of wear in my collection. This is a great lipstick for dry lips. It is described as:

No one will ever guess that behind that beautiful, saturated color you are moisturizing and protecting your lips.

Long-lasting grape seed anti-oxidant enriched moisturizing lipstick with SPF 20 nourishes and protects the lips from environmental pollutants and the harmful effects of free radicals. Helps the lips appear smooth and moisturized while visibly easing the signs of aging. Apply evenly to lips for a customized look.

Here is the link to the manufacturer website: http://www.29cosmetics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=sitecontent.default&objectID=2256&parentID=2224

I purchased this on MyHabit.com which is a flash sale website similar to Hautelook or RueLaLa. Here is a link if you want to join:

http://myhabit.com/ref=qd_mr_per_l?refcust=QACL4NSXNRPNPBE45XLB52IVEQ

I got this week for $13 and it was I believe $25. So this is in that Luxe brand category for me, similar to Lancome or Estee Lauder. What a steal! Apparently these are sold at Neiman Marcus and MyHabit.

I love it go splurge and get yourself a color!

NYX butter lip balm - "Lady Fingers"

I am in love with the NYX lip balms! They have fabulous color pay off, better than Baby Lips. It is much more opaque. This color is called "Lady Fingers." This smells like smarties candies too me. This is one of those easy colors that you don't worry about moving around during the day. I cannot wait to get more colors! This amazingly opaque and hydrating colors need to come live with me! And they only costs about $4!

They are available online at http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/p-214-butter-lip-balm.aspx and at Ulta.

Baby lips collection and review with lip swatches

I really love Baby Lips products, they are quite moisturizing and easy on the lips when you have those days that your lips are too tight to wear a real lipstick. I really love these on my no makeup days for just a little color. Also they are only about $4 and so worth it. Here is my collection of Baby Lips with lip swatches. I describe each with the scent as well!

"In Cherry Me"
This smells like that childhood fake cherry smell which I love! And this is my favorite color on my lips. It is a buildable color (to almost medium coverage). It is such an easy way to wear a red lip and not worry about smudging it.

"Pink Shock"
This one smells like raspberries and is a beautiful fuchsia color. It is the second deepest color of them all. Definitely a staple in my collection.

"Berry Bomb"
I cannot tell the difference between this one and the regular grape one on me, but that is ok I love them both ;) This smells like sweet tarts to me. Love it!

"In Grape Vine"
This smells like super childhood grape!! I love this sheer plum color!

"In Pink Punch"
This smells like fruit punch, almost a strawberry scent. It is a fabulous more sheer baby pink that is wearable on me! YEAH! I have a hard time wearing baby pink but this works! This is also the most opaque of all the Baby Lips I own.

I am definitely considering getting one or two of the darker Rescue Baby Lips but I am on the fence since they have been getting mixed reviews on drying out lips since they have mint in them. Hmmm... I will probably break and get "Soothing Sorbet" or "Berry Smoothie" --> http://www.maybelline.com/Products/Lip-Makeup/Lip-Balm/Baby-Lips-Dr-Rescue.aspx#shadedetails

They seem to be the most pigmented according to other blogs.

Here is my favorite blogger's review of the Electro Baby Lips:
http://www.beautybroadcast.net/2013/07/review-maybelline-baby-lips-electro.html

And the regular ones:

I would definitely repurchase these!

YSL lipstick! Lip Swatch and Review "Rouge Volupte Shine" No. 5 Fuchsia in Excess

Lip Swatch Below!

During the Sephora VIB sale I wanted to treat myself to an item I have been wanting but not willing to pay the STEEP price tag. And I did. I used my 20% off coupon to get a YSL lipstick. This one is a "Rouge Volupte Shine" in No. 5 Fuchsia in Excess. It retails for $34. It is described as "bright luminous pink." It is a Sephora exclusive. According to the Sephora website:

http://www.sephora.com/rouge-volupte-shine-P377710

What it is:
An innovative and comforting lipstick enhanced with fruit extracts rich in vitamins and antioxidants that leave lips visibly softer and smoother with up to eight hours of hydration.

What it does:
Succumb to a unique sensorial experience with dazzling color, extreme comfort, and luminous shine. The luscious, hydrating texture glides on your lips leaving a lightweight aqua shine effect, while Back Injection Technology offers extreme comfort and pleasure upon application. This innovative lipstick is formulated to protect lips from free radicals and seal in moisture for up to eight hours of hydration.

What else you need to know:
Antioxidants in natural extracts of pomegranate and rosemary reduce the look of fine lines, while candellila resin forms a thin, protective layer to help lock in moisture and magnify color and shine. Mineral pigments provide bright, vibrant color and a melting formula (instead of a solid stick) enabling smoother glide-on application and an ultrafine lightweight film on lips. Hyaluronic acid spheres hydrate and soften lips to help seal in moisture for up to eight hours of hydration.

I absolutely love this color, consistency, and staying power! It is very smooth almost buttery. It is very hydrating and had minimal feathering on the lips after a long wear time. It has a fruity almost fruit candy smell which is divine. I absolutely love everything about this lipstick. The color payoff is great and long lasting (your lips will still have color after a meal/drinks). It is a build-able color (medium to full) and the shine takes down some harshness. I would definitely purchase another color or another YSL lip product. And come on that packaging is to die for!

My only con on the product is your lips do dry out if you do not reapply. They felt a bit tight when you don't reapply every about 4 hours.

Keep an eye out at target the le Lacque and le mattes are on clearance! I got these two for $3.98 each compared to $7.99! They are on the end of the aisles in the clearance bins/sections.

"I Lacque you a lot":

"No matte-r what":

I already did a review on them. Love them. Great wear time no real feathering and great color payoff. Love the matte ones lately! I did not think the briwn would work on me but it does... Success!
