Estée Lauder lipstick💄💄

Always check your CCOs at the outlets! I got this beauty for $15. It is Estee Lauder's Signature Lipstick in 19 Orchid Light. This the perfect Mauvy-Plum for fall and the packaging is to die for. It reminds me of the YSL packaging and just makes me feel fancy. This is a really opaque and creamy formula that has pretty decent staying power. Go snatch it up and wear it in the New Year!

Sephora Lipstick on Clearance!

Always check those side racks at Sephora because you never know what you will find! I have been so lucky lately. I picked up this lipstick by Sephora in 10 Maniac it is a deep Mauve-brown and is a must have for the winter. I love this Vampy color. It is a Satin finish similar to the Rimmel Satin Finishes (Kate Moss ones in the black tubes). It has really decent staying power but is not terrible hydrating. I purchased this for $7 so definitely felt like I got a steal! Check it out, they also have mattes as well!

December Ipsy!

Merry Christmas Eve! That snuck right up on me! Hope everyone is preparing for the festivities. On that note here was my December Ipsy Bag! Note: the beauty blender was a 1000 point perk.

Pop Eye Shadow Trio: Retails for 10 shadows for $24, so worth around $6.50
      - Smoky eye (grey, black, white), decent pigmentation, perfect for a smoky eye
Bombshell Multi-stick: In the color girl crush, $16
      - Pink shimmery lipstick and cheek product, full size
J. Cat Pencil: $3.99
      - caramel color called Caramel Mocha, not really for me but nice pencil format
Signature English Laundry: $5
      - this came with a mens and women's scents, its fabulous. The women's scent is sweet and florally
       yet not too strong.
    - the sample size was decent perfume samples about 10 uses
Andrea Strip Lashes: $3.99 (perfect for NYE!)

TOTAL: $35.48

Ipsy is a beauty bag subscription service where you take a quiz and get products related to your answers every month for $10. I used to do Birchbox but this is so much better for value and full size products. Ipsy even comes with its own cosmetics bag, love it! It also gives you a point program for reviews and discounts on further purchases to the companies.

Face of the Day (Two Faced Few of my Favorite Things pallete) and NEW clearance products!

Here is a quick tutorial on an easy eye look with Too Faced Few of My Favorite Things Pallete. Also the lip color were some awesome clearance finds at Target and CVS.

The lip color is the Loreal Balm in "Ballet Show" and over top is Milani Glitzy 3D gloss in Starshine. I have heard these are very similar to the dazzle glasses at MAC. The Loreal Balm was $2.98 at Target and the 3D gloss was 50% off at CVS (around $4.50). So keep a lookout for those great finds! Remember year end clearance stickers ends at the end of the year make sure to get to a CVS by then!

The eye look I created was with Buche de noel on the middle and outer lid. Inner lid was Crisp Apple strudel. The crease was Chocolate milk and outer corner was a mixture of Dark Chocolate and Soiree. and some black felt tip liner to finish and mascara.

Also keep an eye out Target has amazing clearance deals that can be combined with Cartwheel or weekly coupon deals. I got this Merona blazer for $6! I also am wearing cigarrete leg jeans by Michael Korrs (from TJ Maxx), White Merona long sleeve shirt (target $7 on sale), Ann Taylor necklace (clearance section), and Sperry boots.

Here is a link to the Boots: http://www.sperrytopsider.com/store/SiteController/sperry/womenssablewaterproofboot/7-145750/catId/cat90048DM/stockNumber/9599705/skuId/***7********9599705*M090/subCatId/cat100156DM/showDefaultOption/true/productdetails

The blazer: http://www.target.com/p/merona-women-s-double-knit-stripe-blazer-stripes/-/A-14624691#prodSlot=medium_1_19

The blazer is not on sale on the website, it was $9.99 at the store and with the Cartwheel coupon it was $6! So look in stores! The blazer runs a little bigger so you can size down if need be this is an XS.

Happy Shopping!

New at CVS

Heads up there are new lip sticks at the drugstore. These claim to be liquid lipsticks. The smell and look almost identical to the Loreal caresse ones that were arguably a dupe for the YSL glossy stains (I don't think they were). They are around $7 - 9 depending where you purchase. I will probably have to get one to try next time but I was too busy looking through the year end clearance (see my last post)!!

Also Revlon has some new blushes. Again around the $10 price point there are some new colors and the shimmer bricks similar but darker than physicians formula.

Happy shopping!

CVS end of the year clearance! 50%-75%

It's the most wonderful time of the year! It the end of year clearance at CVS of course! Those green and pink stickers get me going. It's a scavenger hunt for the drugstore cosmetics sales. Love it. I went to two CVSs got some great deals and spent pennies on the dollar. I did not even use my ECBs wahhh oh well just another reason to find another CVS :). Below is a list of what I got and swatches!

- Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips in Riveria Strip (bronzer, or highlighter) $3.75
- Physician's Formula Happy Booster in Translucent (highlighter/setting powder) $3.57
- Revlon Powder Blush in Smoky Rose $2.75
- Airspun Loose Face Powder inNaturally Neutral $3.25
- Revlon Colorstay Mineral Finishing Powder in Translucent Medium $3.57
- Stay Glossy Rimmel in Eternal $1.37
- Milani 3D Glitzy in Starshine $4.39
- Revlon Color Burst Lip gloss in Bordeaux $2.07
- Physician's Formula in Red Sexy Glow Line $2.49
- Scandal eyes by Rimmel nude liner (not on sale but I can never find it) $4.59
- Neutrogena makeup remover $3.25

I also had a $5 off coupon, so my total was $25.99!! (including the Rimmel Liner)

PF Red, Rimmel, Revlon, and Milani (order below):

Shimmer strips, PF happy booster, and the Revlon Blush (order)

Overall this was an awesome and relatively cheap haul! I would suggest going and getting some products on clearance if you like a good deal. I real wanted to try the Milani lip glosses for a while, and I have always loved the Rimmel ones. The color burst by revlon are very pigmented and I find this an easy way to wear that deep berry shade. I got on to the Airspun because of Glamlife Guru on Youtube she swears by it (and for that matter the shimmer strips for a cheap highlighter). And at these prices its worth the purchase. I will also link to Danna Ann who also did a youtube CVS clearance haul just so you can take a peak at whats out there!

Too Faced Few of My Favorite Things Pallete Review

Look at this delightful thing! So I got the $20 off of a $50 coupon for Sephora and I have been eyeing this pallet for a while! It is sold out online at Sephora (also a Sephora exclusive). This was $56 and with the coupon $36! That is a steal, it has 20 eyeshadows, 2 bronzers, and 2 blushes!!! I absolutely love it! Unlike the "Joy to the Girls" pallet which was not very pigmented and had a lot of fall out this pallet has AMAZING color payoff (Urban Decay Quality), very little fall out, and a good number of mattes (especially for Too Faced, those glitter gluttons ;)). This has 6 mattes! Fantastic! Take a look at the swatches before! I will be doing tutorials with this pallet this will be the go to for the next couple months I am sure!!!

Swatches starting second row of the pallet midway:
Evergreen, Buche de Noel, Honey Honey, Cream Colored Ponies (matte), Dark Chocolate (matte), Moon on their Wings (most fall out but primers makes it work!), Chocolate Milk (matte), Whiskers on Kittens (little too skin toned on my arm but very very pretty!), Snowflakes

Overall, I love this silky pigmented and very blend able colors. This is one swatch without primers. I am in love with this pallet.

Swatches end of pallet to second row:
Pure Glam (satin), Party Time, Ooh la Orchid (matte), Bluff, Tinsel (glitter bomb of awesome!), Soiree (matte beautiful deep wine to cranberry color), Woolen Mittens (matte amazing blending color), Crisp Apple Strudel, Taffy, Coquet, Blue Satin Sashes (super pigmented!)

Bronzers:
Top: Sunbunny dark color, Sunbunny light color, Sunbunny swirled, Chocolate Soleil (it smells like chocolate amazing!) Melt into Spring and bottom Raindrops on Roses

This is an amazing large Too Faced Chevron bag perfect for travel. I <3 it!

This kit has more!!! A Too Faced Lip Injection in a my lips but better color but it does sting a bit. and a Better than Sex Mascara which is supposedly legit!

Back of packaging:

Front packaging:

The kit also has some face charts which is awesome!!

Overall, this kit is worth so much more than $36 or $56! If you can locally get it, GO!

Thanksgiving Makeup and Outfit!

Hope you all had a great Turkey Day! We did! In preparation for the preparation I went shopping for an outfit and found this Target houndstooth dress on clearance! It was only $19.99 and came with the belt. It is adorable! It went perfect with black patent heels. I also paired it with a J Crew statement necklace (not pictured). The point is keep an eye on the clearance section of Target you would be amazed! There is even still some Philip Lim floating around in there!

The makeup I wore was a base of the MUFE Aqua shadow sticks in 20 and 28. They were a $10 deal at Sephora on black Friday. Over them I used Stila Kitten (on lid) and from the Naked pallet Dark house (outer V) and Naked in the crease.  My lipstick was Milani's Sangria with a Buxom lipgloss over. And lots of Mally volumizing Mascara and winged eyeliner. Also I used Bare Minerals in Medium beige for foundation with mineral veil. I also used a new Milani blush in Red Wine.

Just a note these are way better color payoff and much better at staying than the Rimmel scandal eyes pencils. I swatched them below and rubbed them, and the Rimmel moved and the MUFE did not. I am oily and these stay.

I believe the Milani baked blushes are $7.99

This blush is super pigmented (it is on the left) and needs a light hand!!! I learned the hard way!

More eye pencil swatches the top is the Rimmel.

Hope you enjoyed!!!

Calista Tools HOT Rollers! (QVC)

I have been on the hunt for hot rollers that work on my hair. I have super straight hair and usually at best I get about 30 min of curl or body from hot rollers… if I am lucky. So I went for a bigger purchase for "quality" hot rollers from QVC. These were a today special value at either $89.99 or $99.99 and had 4 payments of easy pay. I usually got Conair ones for about $35 and those just were not cutting it. I would get flat hair within 30 min with Conair and it sucked. Even Remington ones (the velvety ones) nothing not even a wave. Maybe if I was lucky I would get body for about 30 min tops!

The positives of these are they are the long roller for hair below shoulder length. This and the heated core make a huge difference (in curl and body). They feel hotter and the heat lasts longer. It takes about 3 min to heat up and 20 min in and I have big body curls. These come with the 12 rollers and the heating element and a nifty bag to carry them in with clips. I was surprised how well they work on my hair I get about 3 hours or more of curls and body and no denting or creasing like the cheaper models. I can run my fingers through my hair and they stay! Amazing! I really would recommend for the super straight haired person who wants to add body and curl. I am sure they work even better on curly hair that would hold a curl.

Here is a picture of the curlers:

Me in the rollers: (I do my makeup after they are in = multitasking)

TADA:

So I would definitely recommend them! My mom has a set and is amazed how well they work, we both have been on a hunt for so long! I threw out my old ones there just was no need after getting these!

New Mac Lipsticks!

I went to the outlets and Cinci a couple of weekends ago and lucked out. One the Cosmetic Company Store (People call these CCOs or CCSs) had a couple of MAC things I fell in love with. I got a lipstick and a set of pigments for a nice glittery eye for New Years Eve. Everything was marked down about 40% off or more I think I paid $24 for four biggish size pigments(colors pink, silver, orange, and pale peach) and $10.50 for the lipstick. I also hit a MAC counter and got another lipstick.

This is a lovely reddish-brown frost colored lipstick that is perfect for everyday use. I love the formula it is quite lasting and has that nice sheen to it. Also this is not drying at all. This is a perfect color that is refurbished 90s color that doesn't really work anymore getting a tune up for today. Also metallics are a new trend and for me this is the only way that I feel I could pull a frosted or metallic looking lip off.
Here is a lip swatch, its called: "Chic"

Here is a holy grail color. It feels like everyone loves this color. This is "Girl About Town" (retail $15) it is an amplified. This is a bright fuchsia and the formula is the most lasting formula compared to everything else from MAC. This stayed on through an entire food tour. This is probably my favorite formula by MAC. Apparently, Spellbound by Covergirl isa dupe for this, if you are looking for a cheaper version.

If you have a chance to look at your local CCS you will be able to get some awesome deals! Apparently they get new stuff almost weekly. They had a bunch of the Viva Glam sets and some of the "Hey Sailor!" sets were in when I was there. So be on the lookout there is some awesome and cheap stuff!!! CCS's carry Estee Lauder, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Bumble and Bumble, and much more! I cannot believe this was the first time I have ever been to one! I also got an Estee Lauder lipstick which I will review later!

(sorry pigments not pictured yet…)

Thanks for reading! What is your favorite MAC lipstick??
