New Years Eve Outfit and Makeup

I love dressing up for special occasions especially, New Year's Eve. I actually got this dress from ModCloth in August in there clearance section it was originally $99 and was marked down to $49. And I could not wait to wear it! It is a ivory with gold embellishment and a velvet skirt. The sleeves are 1970s inspired I feel like I could be in hustle and flow. I wore it with Steve Madden embellished suede flats (DSW clearance $25.99).

Dog photobomb!

I curled my hair with the 1/4 in wand and let them set and brushed them out to get this retro wave look. I used the Too Faced Few of My Favorite Things Pallete with the color "Honey Honey" over the Gold Rush Color Tattoo and a Urban Decay Original Primer. Then in the crease I used the Matte brown in "Chocolate" and the outer V was the deep cranberry in "Soiree." Then I used a Revlon Black color stay felt tip liner, for a winged look. I used the bronzers and blushes from the pallete as well. I love a classic red lip for the holidays. I used "Standout" the Revlon Matte Balm Stain, its a retro perfect red. And it stayed ALL night and well into the new year without any feathering! And of course LOTS of Mally's volumizing mascara. My foundation was Bare Minerals in Medium Beige.

Cheers to the New Year! I hope you all had an eventful New Year's Eve as well!
